What is an eco-friendly giveaway?
An eco-friendly giveaway is a promotional item designed to reduce environmental impact: bio-sourced or recycled materials (PLA, recycled cardboard), local production in France, durability of use and managed end-of-life. At Timelapse-3D, our keyrings and supports are 3D-printed from bio-sourced PLA bioplastic and manufactured locally in Seillons-Source-d'Argens (France).
Which materials do you use for eco-responsible giveaways?
We mainly use PLA (polylactic acid) for our 3D printing, made from plant fermentation (corn, sugarcane, beet) and industrially compostable. PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate), another bio-sourced bioplastic that biodegrades in marine and terrestrial environments without temperature conditions, is not currently part of our commercialised range.
Are your giveaways manufactured in France?
Yes. All keyrings, badges, counter displays and 3D-printed items are produced in our workshop in Seillons-Source-d'Argens (Provence, France). French manufacturing reduces transport emissions, ensures craftsmanship and supports the local economy.
Is a connected giveaway really more sustainable than a classic one?
Yes. A Timelapse-3D connected giveaway can be reused for multiple successive campaigns because the NFC destination is editable remotely. Less objects produced, less waste, less transport. A single connected object can serve 3 to 5 years instead of being thrown away after one campaign.
What is the difference between PLA and PHA?
PLA composts industrially at 60°C+. PHA biodegrades in natural environments, including ocean and soil, without temperature conditions. Both are bio-sourced (renewable organic feedstocks) and oil-free.
Can I customise an eco-friendly giveaway with my logo?
Yes. All keyrings, magnets, badges and 3D objects can be personalised with your brand (logo, colours, message, custom shape). Inks and pigments are adapted to bio-sourced materials.
How much does an eco-responsible connected giveaway cost?
The Made in Provence connected keyring starts from ¥1.50 excl. VAT per unit from 1,000 pieces (¥2.40 for 500 units, ¥1.15 from 5,000 units). The Made in Provence magnet starts from ¥2.80 and the connected business card from ¥19.
Is an eco-friendly giveaway suitable for an RSE corporate gift?
Yes. An eco-responsible corporate gift is an excellent CSR vector: it tangibly materialises your environmental commitments to clients, partners and employees. With measurable indicators (materials, transport, lifespan), it becomes a credible differentiator.
